I like to abbreviate.
This particular gem stands for ‘Poor Baby Which Couldn’t Live Either Way’.
It could just as easily be YUSCNMWYD. (You’re Up Shit Creek No Matter What You Do).
PBWCLEW was my first, and only pregnancy to date (conceived December ‘06 and all over by the end of March ‘07, feel free to hit my back entries for the full gory detail).
This is clearly not a Mommy Blog, so what went wrong?
Unfortunately PBWCLEW had a severe NTD known as ‘Anencephaly’ which is uniformly lethal at birth. We chose not to continue with the pregnancy.
It sucked.
It still sucks.
